EGYPT, Alexandria. Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Diobol (24.5mm, 9.90 g, 12h). Dated RY 12 (AD 108/9). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Serpent Agathodaemon erect to right, crowned with skhent, coiled around caduceus and grain ears; L IB (date) across fields. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 1173; K&G 27.212; RPC III 4348; Emmett 643.12 (R3). Rough brown surfaces. Good Fine. Very rare, only six specimens known to RPC.
